Stain and Scale Inhibitor

Chemical: Hydroxy- ethylidine-1,1 Diphosphonic Acid
Function:A sequestering solution to inhibit scale formation and mineral precipitation in spa baths.

Dosing Rates
To prevent scale or stain deposit: Initial dose: 50ml per 220 gallons. Weekly dose: 20ml per 220 gallons.
To remove scale that has been deposited: As a guide add 2 litres per 220 gallons. Run the spa/hot tub circulation for 24 hours. Drain the spa/hot tub and rinse out before refilling.
Pools: As an initial dose add 1 litre per 10,000 gallons of pool water. As a maintenance dose add 500ml per 10,000 gallons on a monthly basis.
