Dosing Rates To treat established algae: Shock the pool then dose 1 litre per 10,000 gallons of pool water. To prevent algae re-appearing: Each week add 100ml per 10,000 gallons of pool water. To prevent algae before it is established: At the start of the season dose 1 litre per 10,000 gallons of pool water.
